Antique Illustration for Crafts, Scrapooking or Graphic Design: Victorian Ladies in Fall Mantles from October 1892

“Now shall I walk or shall I ride?
'Ride,' Pleasure said;
'Walk,' Joy replied.”
― W.H. Davies

An antique illustration first published in October 1892. This black and white illustration shows two Victorian ladies strolling down a city sidewalk, admiring the latest and greatest styles displayed in the shop windows. The lady on the left seems to have been disturbed by the thundering hooves of a pair of high-spirited horses as they gallop noisily down the street and is frowning disapprovingly. Both women are wearing fall coats or mantles to keep warm. To download a high-res 6.5" x 10" @ 300 ppi JPEG for crafts, collage, scrapbooking or art journaling projects, you can click here.
